NOW THAT I'M BACK FROM STUPID SUPRAISE YORK TRIP, I CAN DO THE ENTRY ON LONDON. Because sweet zombie Jesus, that was utterly brilliant. London, I officially love you.

VGL was fantastic, really really fantastic. They had a video message from Kojima himself introducing the MGS part, and then they played the full MGS2 theme and I LOVE THAT THEME it's my favourite and it gets me so pumped up. And they did all these other ones, like WoW and Mass Effect and Halo and Everquest and then they had this guy up who won the Guitar Hero competition and got him to do a secondary challenge RIGHT ON STAGE and it was FUCKING AWESOME the guy was INCREDIBLE. Also they had the Video Game Pianist and he's really something, it's amazing.

And then when they finished and everyone was shouting ENCORE ENCORE they came back out and asked what they should play and there was just this shout of "ONE WINGED ANGEL" and they built up to it by playing the crowd and saying 'WE'RE ALL GEEKS HERE, SO I WANT TO SEE SOME LIGHTS - PHONES, DS', WHATEVER' and some guy held up a MacBook and he was like 'what is that - a Mac?' and everyone boo'd and it was hilarious.

And then they played the version of One Winged Angel from AC and it was so awesome.

And then they said BUT THAT WAS TOO PREDICTABLE SO HERE and then they played this huge Castlevania thing and it also was awesome.

There were also loads of cosplayers - I have photos.
